They are also asking people to stop hording things. Grocery stores are connected to food banks, so the excess food gets donated to them, which makes it possible for them to run… They\’re getting super impacted by this and at a time where people need it most.

TLFB Christmas Grocery Distribution Feeds 500 Homes
The sun was shining and the air was crisp on Monday, Dec. 16, as Folsom’s Twin Lakes Food Bank provided groceries for festive holiday meals and warm blankets to more than 500 local households. More than 50 volunteers, many in Santa hats or reindeer antlers, assembled and distributed packages that included hams or turkeys along with stuffing mix, fresh produce and pies. Local Food Bank Event Raises $128K
The annual dinner auction benefiting Folsom’s Twin Lakes Food Bank was held last Friday, Nov. 8, at Lakeside Church and surpassed previous records for both attendance and funds raised with a sell-out crowd of 360 filling the church’s auditorium and raising more than $128,000.
